Meet the Owners
EMILY RADIN
OWNER / FOUNDER / CEO
Emily Radin is an accomplished visual artist with a background in makeup and hairstyling at NBC television, and a veteran of commercial, fashion, branded, and artistic shoots. Since leaving the New York metropolitan market, she has expanded her visual media interests to include photography and video production. Seeking studio space to develop her craft, Emily discovered the lack of rental studio space in the area, and that led to creation of The Studio at Velvet Mill.
DAN RADIN
OWNER
Dan Radin is Emily’s husband and a seasoned business executive with decades of experience building and running audio businesses ranging from startups to the Fortune 500. Dan grew up in nearby Waterford, and the couple relocated to his hometown in 2020 after having their first child to be closer to family. He’s also an unaffiliated public servant, elected to Waterford’s RTM legislative body.
